Michael's Real Estate Agent's Listings Manager© - to be released in June 2004.

A free upgrade to registered users of my program formerly known as Real Time Real Estate, this new program replaces RTRE.  This is being done to avoid any possible confusion with a similar program by another company: http://www.realtime2020.com  In fact, you may want to visit that site because their product is more comprehensive and different in several ways than my programs. In fact, if my real estate programs are not what you are looking for you may want to visit their website to see if their program will meet your needs.

June 6, 2004 - Michael's Real Estate Agent's Listings Manager 1.0 will be available for purchase before June 11, 2004.  At that time I will be removing the links to the program it replaces:  Real Time Real Estate.  I will also stop accepting new orders for RTRE at the same time.  I will be notifying existing users of the availability of the new program and their option for a free version upgrade.  The new program will be priced initially at $299 per office, but this may go up or down as sales indicate.  There will possibly be some minor changes before the "official" release but Michaels' REALM should be available for download now.

Still finalizing the new program, now to be released in June..  However, you can see some screen shots of the program below.  Click one of the image thumbnails to see a larger screen shot.  Not yet completed, you can download the help file as it is while I continue to work on finalizing the new program.

May 27, 2004 - I have determined that the new, replacement program for Real Time Real Estate will not be available until sometime in June 2004.  For this reason I am extending the $99 purchase of RTRE with free upgrade to Michael's Real Estate Agent's Listings Manager.  When the new program is ready, I will no longer accept orders for RTRE through my two current registration services - BMT Micro and Shareit.com

Although similar in many way, the replacement program for RTRE 2003 is intended to provide an easy to implement, additional marketing method for you.  Yes, there is an easy to use program to let you update your listings, but the program is supplemented with a re-distributable program that you can quickly burn to CDs.  All the photos you add to each listing record are stored in a single file.  When ready to create your CDs copy that single file to the folder that has the viewlist.exe and autorun.inf file and copy these files to the CD.  No need to gather the many image files, they are included in the database.  Whenever anyone pops the CD in to their computer it will run automatically, or they can double-click the .exe file in Explorer.

Your listings will be presented in an easy to use format with buttons to let your customer move forward or backward through your listings. I have also provided a menu option to let them print (after previewing) a report for the selected property.  If you would like to see how the part of the new program that you would burn on CD works, you can download a zip file - unzip the files in listings.zip to an empty directory on your computer and then double click the file viewlist.exe to run the program as your customer would see it.  In fact, if you have a CD burner you could just unzip the file to a blank CD, then try the CD out.  File size is just over 3 megs.

When released -"Michael's Real Estate Agent's Listings Manager" will also include the ability to save reports as .html files. This would allow you to simply upload the files created from the report to your web server and have a very simple web site of your listings.  This is not nearly as nice or fancy as what a good web designer could do for you, but if your needs are simple this capability may be useful for you.  An example using a report that has a very large, prominent photo can be see by clicking here

In addition to this .html output capability, I plan on including the ability to save reports to .pdf file format.  This may be useful if you want to email customers reports of your listings, or only a specific listing.  Because the reports can be filtered using the Query Wizard you can easily specify listings with a status of "new" of any other filter you can create and apply before running the reports.  Chances are most of your customers will already have the free Adobe PDF Reader software installed, but if not you may include a hyperlink in your emails pointing them to a site to download the free reader:  Get Adobe Reader  which is http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html

At this point I only have one property listed as a sample so the Arrow keys for navigation are disabled.  I will soon be posting the listing update and reporting program that you and your agents could use for adding your listings to the database.  I would welcome any comments if you download the demo program

Notebook Styles at the bottom of the screen let them look at more information about the property.  An Agent Information tab will let them click on a hyperlink to send the Agent an Email message using their default email software, or click a hyperlink to visit the Agent's web site.  A photo of the listing agent can also be displayed.

If your potential buyer is connected to the internet when browsing your listings on the CD hyperlinks let them jump to the property listing on your web site, or click the agent's email address to launch their email program.

I still have a lot to do before a demo is ready for download, but I believe you will find the new program will be a good addition to your marketing tools.

While you may want to buy standard, blank CDs and print your own labels, you might also find it a good idea to use business card size CDs preprinted with your logo and information, ready to copy your listings to, below are a couple of links you may find of interest.
