Michael's Generic Customer Support - MGCS 2005 Ó is a simple program to allow you to easily record, update and report on your customers and contacts with your customers. The program is multi user capable. It is provided as a 32 bit application that runs on Microsoft's Windows 98 or higher and an optional* web interface consisting of .asp (Active Server Pages) and .html (Hyper Text Markup Language) pages. An optional* applet for the Pocket PC is also provided. When you purchase a site license (there are no additional per users charges) you have a perpetual, but non transferable, license to use any or all of the program components at your location and you will be eligible for free version upgrades as they become available. Every effort has been made to develop a program that is easy to learn and use, while still offering maximum bang for your software dollar. * Let me very clear. When some software companies use the word optional this really means "for an additional cost". In my case, optional means it is provided with the site license, but whether or not you choose to use it is "optional" to you. For example, I have had a number of people ask me for an applet for the Pocket PC so I have included that in this site license. However, I have not developed a Palm application so that is not available.
