Copying the Our Listings application to CD
After downloading and installing Michael's Real Estate Agent's Listings Manager, and adding some of your own listings (and deleting any sample property), exit the program and go the My Computer icon on your desktop. In the screenshots below I am using Microsoft Windows XP Pro and the built in CD Writing Wizard. You may have other software you use with your CD Writer and may be using a different version of Windows, so your screens may not look like mine. But I hope this helps get you started.
The next screen shows the C:\REALM folder with folders underneath that one named Data and ViewList

Double click on the Data folder and look for the file named listings.tps - this is the database table that contains your property listings - the digital images you have saved with each record are stored in the database file, so you do not need to worry about copying those files.

Click once to select the listings.tps file and choose the Edit menu, copy to folder, as shown below.

Select the folder C:\REALM\ViewList as shown below. Then click the copy button. This will copy your listings file to the viewlist folder.

Insert a blank CD Rom in your CD burner drive. You should see a screen like the one below.

Choose the option to open a writable CD Folder.
Now, go back to the folders view and browse to C:\Realm\ViewList

Click the Edit menu and choose Select All. Then click the Edit menu again and choose copy to folder. You should see a screen like the one below, my CD writer drive happens to be E: - yours may be a different letter.

After clicking on the Copy button you should see a message that the files are ready to write to CD.

When you click the hyperlink at the left that says Write these Files to CD and then the CD Writing Wizard will start. In my case I gave the CD the name OurListings but you may choose something else, such as the date the CD was creaetd.

After the CD has been written, you can either reinsert the CD in your computer, or put in the CD drive for any other computer running Microsoft Windows 98 or higher and after a minute to two a screen like the one below should be displayed. That's really al there is to it.
