| Hi, we are a recent new user of 'Problem Solved' and are very impressed so far. Just wondered, when I double click on a problem in the problem list, the 'Problem Details' window appears and focus moves to the username field, I have unfortunately a couple of times caught the wheel on the mouse and this changed the username. I have 1 problem now which I am not sure who actually first logged it.
Is there any way I can stop the focus going to username so that if I catch the wheel on my mouse this will not change ?
A minor problem but I hope you do not mind me asking.

Hi Chris, Welcome to the family. I have designed most of my programs to act this way with the user name receiving focus first when adding or editing a request. I think the only way I could prevent what you describe is having the form open in View or read only mode, then have a button to click to put the screen in Edit mode. I will consider this but have a feelilng some would write me back that they prefer the double click on a browse screen take them directly to Edit mode instead of requiring an extra "click". Thanks for the comment.

Hi and thank you for your prompt and welcoming reply.
I will just have to be much more careful and if I do continue to have a problem consider disabling the wheel on my mouse.
Thank you CHRIS SHONE |
