Our help desk programs have for the most part been geared towards IT
Help Desk Staff, where the users of our software support computer
users. Some time back I received emails from users of our first
Help Dek Program that they were using the software for all kinds of
customer support - not limited to computer users. When asked what
about the computer, software, and other IT specific tables and forms,
the reply was "the price was right, so we just didn't use what we
didn't need". To make it easier, I developed QUAD Help Desk - for more
generic customer support, followed by Proactive Customer Support.
These programs have continued to sell pretty well for us so look for
upgrades in 2006.

Hey, Dad,
What about Michael's Generic Customer Support? You know the program you named after me?
I don't see it on the forums. Will you update that program next year?

Hi Michael,
That program really didn't sell very well. It may be that the
price was too high, but I don't know. I might change it some,
then lower the price and see if it sells better.

| Hi Michael, I may have found out a reason or two your program was not selling as well as expected. Someone had apparently changed the admin password from "admin" to something else. This meant anyone else wanting to try the web pages on line would not have been able to login. Perhaps not even downloading the program if they couldn't test the web pages on our site. I have changed the password back and will try to keep eye on it. I also found the order link on the web site needed to be updated and I have added the Introductory discount back. Maybe this will help sales of MGCS 2005. I will probably update the windows interface a little bit later this year, too. |
